The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between work-life balance, organizational pride and job satisfaction. When evaluating employee work-life balance the present paper takes into consideration two relevant antecedents: supervisor support and job autonomy; and explores their link with organizational pride and job satisfaction. To verify the hypothesis, a questionnaire survey was used to collect data in a Spanish pharmaceutical organization; responses were obtained. Structural equation modeling was used for the data analysis. Data confirms the relationship between the analyzed constructs.


The findings show that Work Life Balance (WLB) is significantly and positively correlated with job satisfaction. In addition, telework and an open office environment.


The Evolving Definition Of Work-Life Balance

To organize and make meaning of the data, both descriptive and inferential statistics have been used. Mean scores and standard deviations of job satisfaction and satisfaction with work-life balance WLB were computed for all the 29 countries. Correlation analysis was used to discern and test for the correlations among the variables of interest.
